Summer sales are regarding to clothing and footwear collections (of past season). Small goods and electric appliances have discounts up to 30- 50%. Large chain stores tend to prepare for this season for new customers, the most enticing credit conditions.
Summer sale season is also connected to the vacation period. In Greece this is usually August. So discounts during this time are considered as an additional incentive for shopping .
For several years, the summer sales tend to start earlier than usual: as expressed in the state's desire to maintain a high level of trade. Therefore, for the start of the season sales should begin to monitor advance.
