Popular hotel search and comparison engine  Trivago conducted a research and published the 30 most popular islands in the Mediterranean Sea. The results were based on a review of millions of travelers.

Total of 13 Greek islands included in the list of 30 most popular, the seven of those were in the top ten. Once again, the Greek islands are on a high position and continue to impress a lots of visitors.

First position is hold by the island of Ios, wher the percentage popularity come to  86.22%, immediately after it is the island of Hydra, and the third position was taken by Folegandros. Up to the eighth position the list is rich with the Greek islands, such as Mykonos, Santorini, Paros and Naxos.

Also, the top thirty most popular destinations include: Spetses - 14th position, Crete - 16th position, Zakynthos - 20th position, Kos - 23, Rhodes - Corfu on 27 and 29 positions.
