Greece is closer to receiving €5.7 billion ($7 billion) of European loans as the Eurogroup Working Group (EWG) on Friday approved the latest disbursement.
EWG head, Mario Centeno, confirmed his organization had ticked off the prior actions required by Greece and said the fourth tranche of funding would be signed off “after national parliamentary procedures have been completed”.
The monies are expected to be made available in the second half of March.
“We have now entered the final lap of the Greek European Stability Mechanism program,” he added.
